Hey, I'm Milecia. I started this blog because I wanted a place to share my thoughts without worrying about algorithms, engagement metrics, or clout chasing. Just some random stories, lessons learned, and things I'm curious about.
I've been building software professionally for over a decade doing things like writing code, leading engineering teams, shipping products, and mentoring devs. But I also fly planes, throw punches and kicks in martial arts classes, and get deep into side hobbies like working on cars, gardening, and archery. Life's more than just code, and I want this blog to reflect that.
But I did need a place to put all of my career stuff or as much of it as I could link to. 😅 I'll update this page periodically when I remember something else to add.
