👋🏾 Oh hey — you made it!
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'm not here to sell you a course, get you to sign up for a newsletter, or game the algorithm. This site is just a place for me to share things I've learned in over a decade of writing code, leading teams, and figuring out how to build software (and careers) that actually work.
There's no AI ghostwriting happening here. I still hand-write the code for this blog too. Everything you read comes from me, for better or worse and it there might be some time in between posts. I'm not only into tech either. Life's too interesting to just talk about TypeScript and Python all day.
I've basically gone back to the days where I'll just write about things I think are interesting. No matter if it makes sense or not. We should have more corners of the internet that aren't trying to sell anything. But here's the kind of stuff you'll find here:
- Lessons from martial arts that apply on and off the mat
- Flying airplanes (yes, I'm a pilot)
- Tech deep dives and tutorials without the fluff (when I finally post them)
- Real talk about what makes someone *actually* good at software development career evolution can look like
- And some off-the-wall things like fixing cars, playing instruments, and archery
- Probably some good recipes too
I just wanted to add a little obscure humanity to the... times that we're in.
