Welcome to the official Code Cleaner blog. I want to bring the feeling of not being marketed to, bombarded with ads, or generally trying to be influenced by a blog. If you're here, thanks for coming. My goal is to share the things I've learned in my 10+ year career as a software engineer as well as share things I've learned through my other careers and hobbies.

Hopefully this just feels like a place you can come hang out and not worry about much. I don't use AI to create my posts or images. I don't exclusively write about code and tech because life is so much more than that. But you will be able to learn stuff here you won't find anywhere else.

Here are a few things you can expect to find:

• Of course plenty of advice and some tutorials on the latest code trends
• Deeper insight on what it takes to be a great software developer
• Stuff about being a pilot
• Insights from practicing several martial arts
• Numerous random things about playing instruments, working on cars, archery, etc

Have fun! Be creative and don't get tied down by all of the trends and expectations out there.
