About Me

My name is Milecia and I decided to make this blog because I got tired of posting on other platforms. Even if this never gets much traffic, that's fine with me because this is actually just for fun.

My intention with this blog is to share my knowledge about software development, other engineering disciplines, being a pilot, practicing martial arts, and all the other activities I do. All of the blogs by some of the leaders in the software development industry rarely, if ever, talk about much other than tech or career stuff. Code may be a huge part of my professional life, but it's only a sliver of the things I do.

I have social media accounts, but I'm not very active on them these days. There's more freedon in doing things in real life than online. Not everything is for likes, clout, or recognition. And it shouldn't be.

My Talks

I've been a conference speaker for about 5 years and I have a ton of talks available. Many have been in person and plenty have been virtual. Here's a list of links to different videos.
